What is Clear Glaze Sealer?

This versatile product can be used two ways to save you time and money. When mixed with Xcel Top Coat it makes an excellent translucent tint base, ideal for creating unique color effects on overlayments before sealing. Straight out of the pail it is a light duty water-based acrylic sealer for residential stamped, troweled and stained Xcel overlayments. This quick drying product is specially formulated to save you time on the jobsite.

How is Xcel Clear Glaze used with Xcel staining systems?

When used as a tint base, this flexible material is perfect for adding artistic highlights and deep accents on decorative surfacing.

As a sealer it creates a beautiful sealed surface that is easy to clean

Good wear resistance in foot traffic areas; extends the life and beauty of your work. Clear, colorless formula won’t dull or hide the stain highlights you’ve created. Sealed finish resists deep penetration stains. Makes spills and regular cleaning a breeze.

Easy to use

When used as a sealer, use straight out of the pail…no measuring needed. When used as a tint base, mix with Xcel Top Coat and apply with a sponge, ragging or dry brush technique for beautiful effects. No special tools required. Fast and easy to install with a brush, roller or airless sprayer. Dries fast and can be recoated for extra durability. Cleans up quickly with soap and warm water. Convenient 5 gallon and 1 gallon resealable pails are easy to handle.
